This is as an aditional influence to environment like aditional influence of remedies to human organism.Rational distribution of raw materials and energy sources with respect to exploiting technological eguipment and rational use of materials and energy are decreasing the general virtual environmental pollution. The necessity of such factors force to search amongst local natural resources and local industry wastes materials necessary to "end-of-pipe" technologies and preventive retention of pollution.
By general conclusion of investigation results in the Faculty of chemical engineering (Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania) and information presented in literature sources of different countries it is clear that in Lithuanian conditions such materials could be the wastes of wood treatment, wastes of cellulose and paper industry, ashes, wastes of etching of metallic half finished products, calcium silicates' hydrates as products of recycling of industrial wastes and the local rocks opoka and glauconyte. The particular consideration should be directed to AlF3 production wastes synthesized calcium silicate hydrate CSH(1) whose adsorption catalitic properties allows a rational energy use to oxidative decontamination of air pollutants. The use of this material as substitute of detergents in the textile industry for washing clothes and as insulator of warm is a clearly example of local resources' application in the preventive retention of pollution.
